Studies, Surveys & Testing Services
Tools for Planners &
Managers
Our feasibility studies offer an independent assessment of the viability of a project and consideration of alternate options. We examine the economic, technical, managerial, and financial aspects of your proposed project. While independent, the study is based, in part on information you supply as well as some of our own resources. Whether you are applying for a business loan, seeking funds for expansion or plant modernization, or planning for the future, a detailed feasibility study will give you the factual backing for your application, help you modify your proposal for funding or help you plan for your future growth.
Feasibility studies help you demonstrate your proposal's strengths and will address the pros and cons of the proposal or alternates you might be considering. JRL Engineering will form a team from its own staff of specialists as well as outside experts to provide a comprehensive feasibility analysis in any or all of these areas:

Surveys involve actions similar to the feasibily studies described above but are generally less comprehensive or have a more limited scope. Surveys are useful for making management decisions or to assess a particular function such as energy usage, building maintenance, developing a repair or replacement plan. A survey examines existing conditions or operations to identify strengths and weaknesses which management can use to develop future improvements. See consulting step-by-step for our scope of services agreement process.
JRL testing services may be included as part of our feasibility studies or survey services, or they may be contracted independently. Typical services include testing fire alarm systems, plant operations, and systems to determine if they actually work in the manner intended. JRL utilizes engineers (specialists) with expertise in the the operation of the system selected for testing.
Refer to our Consulting Step-by-Step document for the procedures used in determining scope and fees for these services.
