ENGINEERING RESOURCES
Engineers are technical gurus who make a building function. From structural systems to indoor air quality to lighting and power, engineers create the unseen, qualities of our projects. Engineers strive to provide a safe, healthy, comfortable interior environment within the project budget.
Energy efficiency, system reliability and occupant comfort are critical concerns in any engineered system. We have extensive experience in mechanical systems including plumbing, fire protection, hydronic hot and chilled water, steam, radiant heat and various types of air distribution systems. Our specialty systems design include dust and fume collection, paint booths, swimming pool filtration, dehumidification, fuel oil delivery, and laboratory ventilation systems.
JRL engineering designs electrical engineering systems that meet today's demands for energy efficiency and state-of-the-art technology. Our staff has extensive experience in lighting, power, electrical distribution, fire alarm, security, telephone, and computer data systems. Our electrical designers work closely with architects and interior designers to provide efficient and effective lighting solutions for our clients with an eye to complementing the architectural and interior esthetic. Computer generated design programs allow us to model alternatives and to select the most appropriate solution.
Whether it is an esthetics or high, medium, and low voltage power distribution, security systems, alarms, process controls, instrumentation, generators or communication systems our electrical designers will provide a a successful solution.
With experience in residential, commercial, and industrial applications, JRL 's structural engineers will provide the engineering needed to set a good foundation for your next project. Whether your project requires spread footings, drilled concrete micropiles, augered concrete piles, or steel H-piles, we can design a foundation system suitable for your terrain whether flat, wet, rocky, or steep. Our structural engineers will be there as your construction progresses to completion. Our structural engineers consider economy, building code, location, ease of construction, time of construction, fire safety, architectural appearance and most importantly reliability in their designs. We use state-of-the-art computer equipment for structural analysis, design, and drafting which enables us to study more options, to optimize the design, and to increase the accuracy of our solutions.
ENGINEERING SPECIALTIES
JRL can provide unique engineering expertise, either from our own staff or with our associated speciality firms. Our engineer specialists and technicians will solve out of the norm requirements such as special acoustics or lighting, highly specialized or unique aspects of laboratories, hospitals, robotics, conveyors, sensitive demolition, or hazardous materials handling and associated CAD requirements.
A specialis will have 15 years of experience or more with a 1 a-year minimum in a specialized field. This engineer possesses an extensive background in engineering research or manufacturing. The engineering consultant / specialist will have broad technical experience in industrial, commercial and municipal developments, providing a depth of technical knowledge in a particular field acoustical, abatement, instrumentation, controls or process. This experience qualifies the engineer to contribute an expert approach for a solution to a company's problem. In addition to being capable of solving design problems, the engineering consultant / specialist is responsible for the technical content of complete design projects.
The list of engineering and manufacturing personnel disciplines are too long to list in this document but you may review our general classifications for experience requirements Call JRL and we can discuss you requirements and needs and may be we can help your manufacturing with ideas for product invocation, production bottles necks, thru put improvements, and efficiency, ideas of how we can help your manufacturing enterprise.
