Fuel Tank Board - Cost $165.00 (U.S.)

The Fuel Management Board keeps aircraft header tank full by pumping fuel between the left to right wing tanks. Technically the Fuel Management Board is a "On Delay Alternating Power Relay". In JRL's KR2 aircraft, the board controls two 10 amp electric fuel pumps. The Fuel Management Board can be used in conjunction with JRL's Knot-Vue to provide a "low fuel" alarm.

Fuel Tank Manager Board

The Fuel Management Board uses one Float Switch (Normally Closed Contact with tank full) and we program the "On Delay Timer" for 15 Minutes ( one Gallon fuel burn ) after the float contact opens due to fuel burn. After 15 minutes the No. 1 Pump is turned "ON" and fills the header tank. Then on the second cycle the No. 2 Pump turns "ON" and the cycle continues. An "Auto-Manual" Control Switch is used with two "On-Off" Switches for full control of the process, refer to the field wiring schematic.
